SKATE PARTIES

Strap on your skates and meet us at the Fountain Valley Skate Center! Throughout the year we will host Skate Parties where kids can hang with their friends and maybe even see a teacher or two! The class with the most students in attendance will win the Golden Skate Trophy for the month!

TRUNK OR TREAT

Our annual Halloween event is packed full of family-friendly fun. Families and Oka Staff will decorate trunks and kids can trick or treat while mingling with classmates. Music, candy and awesome decorations make this an Oka favorite. 

JOG-A-THON

Jog-a-thon is our biggest fundraiser of the year! Students collect donations and lap sponsors to raise money for Oka and burn off energy. This is also a great time to volunteer- whether it's lap counting, handing out water cups or spraying the kids down as they run. Make sure to check out this can't miss event!

BOOK FAIRS

Everyone's favorite event! The Oka Book Fair is fan favorite where kids can shop for books and other fun things. A portion of every sale goes back to the school and helps us earn books for teacher's classrooms. 

MOVIE NIGHT

A nighttime movie with all your friends and classmates? Yes please! Oka Movie Night is a great time to relax with your family, see friends from school, all while watching a classic family-friendly flick. Concessions are available with popcorn and candy to help create that outdoor theater experience. 

MULTICULTURAL NIGHT

A multicultural night school event that celebrates diverse heritage through food, traditional performances and interactive country booths. Family activities help to foster inclusion and cross-cultural learning. 

TEACHER/STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK

Our PTO provides the amazing Oka teachers and staff with a week of appreciation to show our thanks for all the hard work and love they pour into our students throughout the year. Daily treats, lunches and special surprises help show them how much we care!

Meet the Masters 

Meet The Masters is an art program designed to introduce our Oka students to the "masters" of the art world. They attend an assembly learning about the history and techniques of the artist, then get to make a masterpiece of their own in a parent-led art project designed in the style of the artist.
